Alice and her friend Noah.
2014/05/18 23:00 I was at the 11th edition of the Sub Rosa sessions at SubCat Studios this evening.
Lucky Charms! I am with Terrance Moran of the Larkin and Moran Brothers Band. He also happened to be wearing a Lucky Charms shirt. This is my third Lucky Charms shirt in the last three days for those of you paying attention. Lucky Charms are 50 years old this year. Originally there were five marshmallows. As Lucky used to say in the ads, “pink hearts, yellow moons, orange stars, green clovers, and blue diamonds”. Over the last 50 years there have been more than 50 different marshmallow ‘lucky charms’ of different shapes and colors. Happy St. Patrick’s Day to one and all.
Alice took a dance class.
2014/03/23 14:00 I was playing with my granddaughter who is almost three. I was drawing cartoons for her. I am not very good. She asked me to draw a picture of my wife, who Alice calls Bamma. I gave Alice the first attempt and it was not acceptable. She gave it back and said, “Pop, you need to draw her boobs”. The second attempt she accepted.
Adison's turn to run.
Karen and I had a delightful time at Clancy’s, a world famous Irish pub. Clancy’s is located Southside Chicago. Eat at Clancy’s.
The six-legged run is two people legs and four dog legs
The Incredible Hulk at the mall.
Larkin and Moran Brother's Band.
Alice covered her ears when we sang 'Happy Birthday'. We must be really bad singers.
Banana covered with peanut butter, pickle, chips, and lemonade. The perfect picnic foods.
Hanging out with Otto the Orange.
One picture on the way to see Captain America and one picture on the way home after the movie was over.

2014/04/27 23:00 I had another enjoyable evening at SubCat Studios for the latest installment of the Sub Rosa sessions.
Before.
2014/05/15 I have been finishing up building a retaining wall in my front yard. I started the project last year. I am also building a new patio in my backyard. So, I bought a cement mixer. I was working out in front of my house and one of the neighbor kids that plays with my grandson rode up on his bike. He is about seven or eight years old and very polite. He said, “Can I ask you something?” I said, “Sure.” He asks, “Did you buy that cement mixer or did you rent it?” I said, “I bought it, it’s all mine.” He exclaims, “That is so awesome!” Yes, yes it is. Life is good.
2014/05/29 19:00 We went to Dunkin Donuts for breakfast this morning. Then we loaded up the Jeep and took some donations to the SPCA
Tristan crossing the finish line.
2014/05/19 16:00 Alice took an impromptu nap this afternoon.
After.
2014/05/28 21:00 We were shopping at Michael's tonight. Karen said I should take some photos of Alice in this outfit. She insisted on wearing it even though it has long sleeves and it is finally kind of Summer here. Karen wanted the photos to send to her sister-in-law, Lynn, who sent the outfit for Alice.
Sean and Robert went with me.
While Karen and I were enjoying ourselves at Clancy’s, the Guinness girls were there and they gave me a free personalized Guinness T-shirt just because I was drinking Guinness. Good things can happen to you while drinking Guinness. Testify!!

Alice likes having Adison fix her hair.
2014/03/15 12:00 Karen and I are getting ready to leave for Chicago. We are driving to Rochester and we will fly from there to Chicago. Adison came over this morning. She is taking the kids to a new amusement center that opened recently in Destiny USA. She did Alice's hair before they left.
The rants, rambles, and ravings continue, hopefully with new inspiration.
This latest iteration of my rants and rambles will be much like past versions. The key components will be unchanged. There still may be too much information shared and I am still most definitely weird as all get out. And still boring. Read on dear reader but proceed with all due caution as your safety is not guaranteed on this journey that you have chosen to take.
Things are getting a bit fuzzy.
Much fun had at Clancy's.
Medals.
2014/04/26 23:30 Fire tonight in the Tiki fire bowl. With marshmallows.
The kids made fruit water with real fruit.
The grass skirt might have been too big.
I'm hoping these guys were disqualified because I'm pretty sure those aren't dogs.
Alice and I are going to go grocery shopping at Wegmans.
2014/03/17 23:00
2014/04/20 20:00 Today we had Alice's birthday cake.
2014/05/04 16:00 This morning was the annual Mountain Goat Run in downtown Syracuse. The kids did a fun run first and then Adison ran.
Some pipes...
My wife Karen, with boobs.
My new friend John Ciciora at guitar on the left.
My wife superglued one hand to a robot. She superglued 2 fingers on the other hand to each other. We did avoid a trip to the emergency room. So, Karen was trying to hold a knife in the hand with two fingers glued together - she was trying to cut her other hand lose from the robot. My grandson says, "Careful, don't cut my toy!!" Everything is okay now. Michael had some brake solvent. Worked fine.
2014/04/18 19:00 We had a birthday luncheon for Alice at Red Robin today.
Photos by my friend Buddy Thorpe.

It was a very chilly morning.
“They’re always after me Lucky Charms”. Celebrating St. Patrick’s Day in Chicago, actually Oak Lawn, with Karen’s Irish sister Mary.
Karen and I were in Chicago today. We met Karen's brother John, his wife Lynn, and their son Mike for a Cajun breakfast.
2014/04/15 22:00 April fifteenth is tax day. But, more importantly April fifteenth is Alice's birthday. We celebrated by going to Billy Beez today.
