February is the second and shortest month of the year in the Julian and Gregorian calendar with 28 days in common years and 29 days in leap years. 2018/02/10 15:20 At the brewfest with my kids Adison and Michael. My wife graciously agreed to be designated driver and dropped us off. Michael said "worst ride ever." Not sure if my wife is coming back to pick us up.
2018/03/18 10:00 On Sundays I get donuts from Dunkin Donuts for the grandkids. This morning after I picked out the dozen the guy handed me the box and he said, “Will that be all miss?” I said, “Yes, that’s it for today.” I thought it was odd that he would call me miss but I am an enlightened guy and I thought maybe he was making a statement about gender assignments or something. Also, he called me miss and not ma’am so I had that going for me. Then he said, “Sorry, I wasn’t talking to you. Drive-thru.” And he pointed at his headset. “Oh, okay.”

2018/04/04 18:00 I don't know what I want. Ennui. Lassitude. Actually I know what I want. I want to be on the Sunset Pier in Key West. The weather here sucks. I don't know what I want that I can have. I went outside and I tripped. Fell off the patio and went down hard. No injuries. Twisted my ankle a little but I can walk on it okay. The ground was soft and a little muddy. I think I freaked the dog out some. If I fell in the well I like to think she would go for help.
2018/02/26 12:15 Elliott and I had breakfast this morning. We were leaving the restaurant and Elliott said, “I see the mailman.” I looked and said there was no mailman. Elliott said again, “I see the mailman.” Nope I said. Now he was getting upset and he said, “I SEE the mailman!!” I looked again and realized he was talking about the UPS truck and the UPS driver. At his age I assume it is the same thing – both the USPS and UPS deliver packages. He isn’t old enough for a lesson about the differences between the Federal government and the private sector and so I said, Yup, the mailman.

2018/02/26 16:30 When I take Elliott to the grocery store if he gets ten to fifteen feet away from me there is usually a concerned woman in the store that will start to look for his mom or his caregiver. I am never a suspect. Today we went to Wegmans and Elliott insisted on the super annoying huge cart with the steering wheels. About half way through our shopping adventure he decided he wanted to walk. I took him out of the super annoying huge cart with the steering wheels. He wanted his jacket off and so I was holding his jacket when a woman came into the aisle. I could tell by her face she was into panic mode as she scanned looking for Elliott’s mom or caregiver. She saw me with the super annoying huge cart with the steering wheels holding a toddler’s jacket and she scanned on looking for a responsible person that might belong to Elliott. I called Elliott’s name and she said, “Oh, is he with you?” I was polite and said yes but I was thinking I wanted to say, “No, but I lost the little kid that goes with this super annoying huge cart with steering wheels. He fits in this little jacket I’m holding.”

Karen has been watching him since then. She just threatened me, "Don't you dare take a selfie with the baby and let people think you have been watching him all day!" So, my peeps, no cute baby pics today.

There is another nor'easter set to hit the East coast. Today is the Vernal Equinox, that day when day and night are about the same length. Today is considered to be the first day of Spring. Sure doesn't feel like it.
