To end our busy day we went to Destiny Mall and saw "Captain America - Civil War". The movie was very good and I really enjoyed it. It had a very interesting plot and posed some questions not easily answered.
We went to Green Lakes State Park in the morning to see visiting zoo animals. The ground was littered with ash and debris from the fire.

It was cold and then it started raining. We weren't dressed for it. We ended up buying a poncho for Alice from one of the vendors.
Finished up removing the piers today. Started the landscaping around the pool.

2016/06/03 23:00 I met Adison, the little baby Elliott, and some of their friends downtown for the Taste of Syracuse.
The temperature dropped close to freezing last night. Today it is in the low 40's and raining off and on. Karen and I took the kids to the indoor trampoline park. I put on an Aloha shirt, cargo shorts, Summer loafers with no socks, and a Hawaiian bucket hat. My wife accused me of not knowing how to dress myself. She says I frequently embarrass her in public. After the kids were done bouncing I went to the snack bar to acquire some large pretzels and cheese. The kid working the concession stand, looked like a skater dude, exclaimed loudly as I approached, "Woooahh!! Your outfit is really awesome man!" I do have some that appreciate what I bring to the table.

The last time I saw my primary care physician and she saw the cuts and scratches on my arms and legs she asked if I was okay. Did I feel safe in my house? I lied and said I felt safe in my house. My cat drew blood again this morning.

2016/06/25 17:00 I am in Lake George at the Tiki Motor Inn for this year's Ohana: Luau by the Lake. Last night the Tungane hosted a room for the room crawl. Our theme was 'Animal House'. Pictures from the room crawl were posted on Facebook.
The rants, the rambles, and the ravings continue. I search for some kind of meaning but I always seem to lose my way. At this point I admit to being lost. Dear reader, if you have wandered aimlessly with me and feel like you have wasted your time I am truly sorry. It was never my intent to waste anyone’s time but my own. No refunds though. All you have lost is your time and no one gets that back. Once the time has been spent it is gone for good; lost like tears in a rainstorm.
Got my large Moai closer to his final spot. I need to pour a substantial pad for him to sit on. I am pretty sure he weighs north of 500 pounds and I don't want him tipping over.
We ate dinner in the food court tonight. Alice wore her summer duds.

2016/05/18 19:00 I was almost in a car accident today. A woman was distracted driving and she damn near t-boned me at an intersection. Texting, no, she was flossing her teeth. For real. I am ready for the autonomous cars. Robot drivers have to be safer.

Robert and I took Tristan and Alice bowling. They bowling alley played "Electric Slide". Tristan threatened that he would run out in traffic and get hit by a car if I didn't stop dancing.

2016/05/25 18:30 The little baby Elliott and I went to see his Mom at her place of employment today. It was a "Luau" day.
No pants. Now it's a party!
All of the construction and renovations done on the house have left a mess. My wife says she cries when she goes in the back yard or the side yard. I need to clean up the aftermath left from the improvements.
I think the crowds were larger than expected and so the lines were long. A lot of the trucks ran out of food. It was the first year for the event and I hope they plan better next year.

We left the 'Kid's Expo' and moved to a different part of the fairgrounds for a food truck rodeo. We met Adison and Elliott there.

2016/05/15 14:00 We took Tristan to the trampoline park. Alice couldn't go because she was sick. She was heartbroken that she couldn't go. We promised to take her another time. Adison and the little baby Elliott met us there.
The little baby Elliott got a new toy today. It is a sand table. Karen got it on Craig's List. I haven't gotten the play sand yet but Elliott likes climbing on it.
The piers are going to be tough to get out.

Robert and I took Tristan and Alice to Wegmans. On the way home we spotted a lot of smoke and drove to investigate.
We left Green Lakes and went to the NY State fairgrounds for a 'Kid's Expo'. It was kind of commercial, not what we expected, but Alice did get her face painted; Wonder Woman.

I bought four forsythia bushes last year. I added three more this year. The new ones aren't looking real good. It has been so dry. I am hoping to have a nice little hedge here in a couple of years.

2016/05/01 11:00 I got up early this morning to take Alice to the Mountain Goat Run in downtown Syracuse. She was registered for the kid's fun run. Tristan was registered also but he wouldn't run. It was a cold, rainy, and very dreary morning. Alice didn't quit.
